Can You Help?

It's that time of year again where we are seeking volunteers to help care for our chickens over the Christmas/summer holiday break.

Caring for our chickens involves coming up to the school in the morning to let the hens out, and returning in the evening to lock them back up into their coop.

Thank you to those families who have already indicated that they can help, however we require a few more families to ensure all days of the holidays are covered.

We love being able to provide the kitchen garden and chicken experience to our students, and the help from our community in looking after the chickens in the holidays enables us to continue to do that.

SPS Egg Raffle

Our hens are back to laying more eggs now the weather is warming up, so our weekly Egg Raffle is back on!

To enter the raffle, buy a ticket from the office.  Tickets are 50c each and will give you one entry into the draw to win a dozen freshly-laid eggs. Tickets are available to purchase from the office from Monday to Thursday, closing at lunchtime on Thursday. You may buy as many tickets as you like.

Each week the winner will be announced at assembly by our Sustainble student leaders.

A new raffle starts each week (tickets do not carry over).
