Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

2024 YEAR 6 LEADERSHIP TEAM

We were very impressed and proud to have so many Year 5 students come forward to be considered for School Leadership roles in 2024. Nineteen students prepared speeches and expressed in very confident and competent terms why they would like to be of service to our school community as School or Vice Captain. Fifteen candidates then gave speeches to their Colour groups to be considered for the role of Sports Captain. The students in Years 2 to 6 showed their support through attentive listening and a huge applause.

Nagle Sports Captains: Olive and Anthony

All of these children are well-deserving of their roles and we know they will represent St Aidan’s admirably and be excellent role models for all of our students.

CATHOLIC COMMUNITY FAIR

On Sunday 19th November the Holy Family Parish together with St Aidan's Catholic Primary School held our first ever Catholic Community Fair. We began with a Family Parish Mass followed by food stalls, games, raffles and entertainment on the front playground. It was a HUGE success with over 150 parents, staff, students, parishioners and community members attending. It was so lovely to come together with our Parish Community. The atmosphere was filled with fun and laughter. Some of our local talent was showcased. We thank everyone who helped in anyway to make this such a successful day. 

KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION

This week we had our Kinder Orientation days. Our Kinder students for 2024 came along to visit our school and spend time in the classroom with their teachers and peers. We also welcomed many new parents and carers as well as existing parents and carers to discuss how we can best prepare their children for a settled transition to school. We are looking forward to welcoming these students to St Aidan's next year.
