Principal's Report

The final weeks of school are packed with exciting events! From various sporting events to dance performances, a lot is happening. Keep an eye on our school calendar as we have more events lined up. We hope everyone thoroughly enjoyed Presentation Day under the new Basketball Stadium; it was a great reprieve from the sun. Thank you to all the parents and special guests who attended the proceedings.

Last month, our school proudly had six talented dance students (Jazmin Forrester, Delaney Doyle, Tahlia Husband, Payten Ward, Emma McIntyre and Jasmine Packer) represent us at the School Spectacular in Sydney. Don't miss the televised broadcast of this remarkable event on Channel 7 at 7 pm, Saturday, December 9th. It's a showcase not to be missed!

Our PBL reward excursions are held this week with over 100 attendees visiting the Big Banana. Some of our students have achieved Platinum this year and are headed to Wet'n'Wild—an exciting reward for those who consistently display our school's core values of Diligence, Respect, and Responsibility. We are proud of your achievements and look forward to including all the pictures in the next issue.

To our graduated Year 12 students and parents: You're invited to our HSC results breakfast on 14/12/23 at the school starting at 8.30 —this is an excellent chance to reconnect with teachers and classmates. During breakfast, both parents and graduates can reflect and their achievements in a supportive environment and will hopefully hang around to let us know their ATARs at around 9.00 am.

Additionally, a round of applause to our Year 10 students completing their second phase of work experience. We hope they're thoroughly enjoying and learning from these valuable experiences.

Year 10 have also started their Year 11 taster lessons and begin to experience life as a senior students with their white shirts.  Students have been asked to complete 'All My Own Work' and register their email address with NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority). From my observations so far, all students are embracing the opportunity and stepping up into their senior roles.
