In the heart of the New England area of New South Wales, during the vibrant Week 5 of this term, the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre (TRECC) bore witness to a spectacular showcase of talent—the much-anticipated CAPERS. Among the stars that graced the arena-style arts production, the GIHS Dance Team emerged as a shining beacon of skill and creativity.

CAPERS, being the only arena-style production in rural NSW, holds a special place in the hearts of students and the community alike. It not only celebrates the arts but also fosters a sense of unity and pride as students from diverse backgrounds come together to create a visual and auditory spectacle that leaves a lasting impact.

School Spectacular - Week 7

Since 1984, the Schools Spectacular has been more than a showcase; it's been a cultural phenomenon celebrating the diverse talents of New South Wales Public School students. This annual extravaganza has grown into a world-class arena production, making it one of the largest events of its kind in Australia and perhaps the world. In 2016, the Schools Spectacular reached new heights when it set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ for the Largest Amateur Variety Act, featuring over 5,300 students.

The GIHS Dance Team's performance was a testament to the countless hours of practice and unwavering commitment poured into perfecting every move. The dance floor became a canvas, and their bodies painted a picture of synchronized elegance and grace.
