Did you see our glorious sunflower display?

Our students enjoyed observing the pollinators doing their job inside the massive flower heads.

Sadly though, the blooms have finished and we are looking forward to harvesting sunflower seeds for next summer.

It is still too hot for new planting, so have busied ourselves with mulching and maintenance tasks.

The garden is producing abundance of capsicum, zucchini and tomatoes, they have been our star ingredients for the summer menu.

We are fortunate to have some volunteers back in the kitchen, if you love food and cooking with kids, please make contact with your child’s homegroup teacher or Ms. Crossman for more information.

Check out these veggie galore pizzas made and enjoyed by our Year 4 students.
