Amelie: A French poster exhibition

On the 1st of November, the Year 10 French students had the delight to host Ms Patti and Mr. Hunter for the inaugural French poster exhibition on the theme of Amelie.

The students created a range of designs and it was hard for the visitors to vote on three of their favourites. Ultimately, the numbers were in and the winners were announced:

3rd place: Divyana

2nd place (equal): Sachi & Cheryl

1st place: Hannah P

The winners were awarded various prizes from French delicacies like macarons and Bonne Maman confiture to the ultimate: The Gangsta Garden Gnome!!

Of course, no “vernissage” would be complete without bubbles and nibbles, therefore our esteemed guests and visitors were treated to a little French buffet of Cheese, Crackers, Macarons and Sparkling Apple Juice in lieu of Champagne!
