Last week we had a Junior School assembly where we were able to celebrate our students’ achievements this term as well as hearing some lovely pieces from some of our music students.

Over 60 Year 7-10 students received a voucher for having reached 10 Green Chronicle, a huge achievement!

We also heard speeches from our Junior School Captain candidates. They should all be very proud of themselves for delivering these in such a confident and entertaining manner.

I am happy to announce that our successful candidate who will represent the junior school next year as captains are:

Captains: Thisen W  and Calista D

Vice Captains: Adam W and Yong RF

I am looking forward to working with them next year.

On Tuesday 12th December, we welcomed our 2024 year 7 students on their Orientation Day. Over 200 excited and somewhat nervous students met on the basketball courts on Tuesday morning to get a taste of what school will be like at Highvale SC next year. Our teachers created some engaging lessons and were assisted by our wonderful Peer Support leaders. All the students had a great day with all reporting back at the final assembly that they had all made a new friend. There was plenty of fun had and students loved all their classes, and the ice cream van was a hit too! We are excited for them to join us next year.
