It's time for sun protection

With UV levels in Victoria now reaching 3 or higher, it’s time for all Victorians to start using sun protection again. SunSmart is asking schools, families and communities to remind students  to wear their sun protective hats and clothing and apply sunscreen before heading outdoors. We want to make sure we are protecting every Victorian from harmful UV radiation.

Remember UV levels in Victoria are 3 or higher from mid-August all the way through to the end of April, not just Terms 1 and 4.

Noticed our new SunSmart logo?

We're excited to share our refreshed SunSmart brand and logo.

As you know, SunSmart Victoria has been supporting the Victorian community to protect their skin and eyes from UV radiation for over 40 years. Following consultation with many of our SunSmart community and stakeholders, we have refreshed our brand and have developed new messaging to better support all Victorians including schools and early childhood services.

SunSmart is committed to continuing to support schools and early childhood services with sun protection policies, practices and education and early detection messages, through our refreshed website, Facebook, and Instagram channels. We are focusing on sharing more content for families and schools, so keep a look out for us online!

We will be commencing the rebranding of all our SunSmart resources over the coming months, but please be assured the current ones are still usable and available to download and use.
