APRIL VACATION CARE!

During VAC the children enjoyed many days filled with fun at school when we weren't embarking on exciting excursions to Neverland, The world of Kung Fu Panda and Gymnastics.

We started with WONKA day full of scrumptious snacks, a chocolate fountain even made an appearance! Oompa Loompa scavenger hunts, character games and chocolate factory building were just a few things we got up to.

Later in the week we Voyaged to Neverland visiting the Melbourne Arts Centre, enjoying a Peter Pan themed stage show performed by Circus wonderland, which got many of our staff and children involved, including Julie who got an up-close encounter with Tinkerbell!

Gymnastics was another great, fun filled day. The children got the full gymnastics experience swinging from ropes, climbing up walls, rotating around bars and bouncing on the trampoline. Our children got to face fears, try and learn new skills and push themselves out of their comfort zones. " I was scared to swing from up high down to the mat, but after I did it, it was my favourite part of the day!" - Noah, Grade 1

Some other days at our program included the children working in teams to compete in The Australian Kids Survivor challenge, many minute to win it competitions in our taskmaster day and cooking fiestas with pinata making to bring our holidays to a close.

We can't wait to see you for the next school holidays, we hope you have a great Term 2!

Thankyou,

OSHC Crew
