Year 5 and 6

Two weeks into Term Two and the students have already taken part in a number of great experiences. From Cross Countries to Expos, it certainly has been a busy time in Year 5 and 6!

Year 5 Camp

We are beginning to finalise the planning for the Year 5 camp. Thankyou to those families who have completed the permissions and payments on Compass. If you haven't completed these as yet, could you please do so when you get a chance. If you require any information or assistance, please contact the office.

As a major part of the program is the costumed experience, it is important that students have the correct attire for Day 2 and 3. Leather shoes/boots and long socks are required by all students. Please refer to the clothing list for extra information.

iTime Expo

What an incredible afternoon we had on Wednesday! The Learning Centre was heaving with people, keen to see what our Grade 6 students had produced. Once you got past the smoke machine and the axolotl, there was an endless array of subjects to learn about. Congratulations to the students for their efforts in completing their projects and thank you to family members who were able to come along and support them.

Year 6 to 7 Transition Forms

A reminder to Grade 6 parents that the Year 6 to 7 Transition Forms are due back by the 10th of May. You are required to fill out pages 11 to 14 of the information packs emailed home last week. Students may return the hard copy or email it back to alistair.straughan@education.vic.gov.au Please send any questions to that address too.

Year 6 Graduation Fundraising

The students have come up with a brilliant plan to recycle the Subway Primas each week. We will be collecting them in classes however we are seeking parent/s who would be able to take these for us to a recycling station when required. If anyone is able to assist please contact Gillian Prentice. All money collected will go towards Year 6 Graduation.
