Our Year 4 students eagerly anticipate their upcoming camp at Oasis Camp in Mount Evelyn, from May 8th to May 10th. This three-day adventure will be filled with numerous activities to foster teamwork, leadership, and personal growth. Please remember that the buses will return to school at 2:30 PM on Friday, May 10th. We ask that parents communicate with staff that they have collected their child before departing to ensure all students are accounted for.
This week, our student leaders did an exceptional job hosting the ANZAC Day assembly on April 24th. Originally planned for outdoors, the venue was moved to the stadium due to wet weather conditions. The assembly was a meaningful tribute, and we commend our students for their respectful participation.
A big thank you goes out to Mr Walsh for organising a successful Cross-Country event. Our students put forth their best efforts, showcasing their stamina and sportsmanship throughout the day.
Mother's Day Stall on Tuesday, May 7th, and Wednesday, May 8th, will be held in the library. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to find that special gift for their mothers. Please ensure your child brings some money to make their purchases.
Year 3 are learning about all things ‘Australia’ this term in Inquiry, and to learn more about Australian Wildlife we will be visiting Healesville Sanctuary. The excursion will take place on Friday 24th May. Students will be asked to be at school at 8.30am, and bring with them lunch, snack and drink bottle in a small back pack. We will arrive back at school in time for a 3.30pm pick up.
The cost for this excursion is $40 due on Sunday 19th May. It is now open on Compass for permission and payment to be made.
If you have any questions, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.
In order to reduce the amount of lost property at school, could you please ensure all items of school uniform, lunch boxes, drink bottles and sports balls have your child's name clearly marked on them. This will ensure any lost item can be returned to the rightful owner.
We appreciate your continued support and involvement in our school activities.
