Swimming

It is nearly time for the Year One and Two students to go swimming! Information about the Swimming Program has been sent out. We would love to see every student participate in this wonderful program. We will be sending out a request for parent helpers very soon, so please look out for this and make yourself available to help if you can.

Mont De Lancey Excursion

In Week 8, Year Two will be visiting Mont De Lancey which is a historical homestead located in Wandin North.

On the excursion we will visit the museum, watch a Blacksmith at work, look through an old house and play some olden day games. We will attend an olden day school on the premises with a very strict teacher!

Over the next couple of weeks, please start thinking about what your child can wear to this excursion because we are asking for all children and parent helpers to be dressed up in olden days clothes eg. shawl, long dress/ skirt, shirt (with braces), shorts or knee length socks with shoes if you don't want to wear boots. It will be cold so remember to dress warmly. Remember to pack a water bottle, snack and lunch are required too in a small backpack. Please email your classroom teacher if you would like to assist as a parent helper on this day (Working With Children Card required).

Maths Game: Get out of my house!

The Year Ones recently learnt a new maths game and have thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Here is the link to a video explaining how to play the game in case you would like to have a go at home.
