Library News

We discussed the Premier's Reading Challenge this week during library sessions this week. Our Year 5/6 class, along with Marty, are thinking up some great incentives to encourage everyone in the school to become involved in the challenge. There was some talk about connecting the senior school's science learning with the incentives. Some talk about making slime to demonstrate a chemical change and then perhaps using the slime. Stay tuned for more information.

Students in senior classes have been updating their library learning website portfolios and have started to learn about using the digital platform, 'Thinglink' during library sessions so that they can share their learning using this interactive tool.

We have also purchased new books which are proving to be very popular!

It has been great to see so many junior school students using their Sacred Heart library bags. A friendly reminder that Library Bags must be brought to each library session to return and borrow books!
