Orchestra Victoria

Orchestra Victoria is one of Victoria’s professional orchestras and their principal role is to support the Australian Opera and Australian Ballet as the orchestra in the pit.  They also have a long-standing relationship with the College and return to us next Thursday to deliver workshops with our string students from Pizzicato to the Senior String Quartet.

Generations in Jazz

Jazz Band and Festival Voices are gearing up for their trip to Mt Gambier for Generations in Jazz, on 4 May.  Both ensembles will perform on Saturday 5 May and look forward, along with thousands of students from all around Australia, to the Saturday night concert featuring some of the biggest international jazz stars in the world! 

Term Two Music Events:

• 28 April - Jazz Band rehearsal, 3-5pm
• 2 May - Orchestra Victoria Workshops
• 4/5 May - Generations in Jazz
• 16-17 May - Australian Brandenburg Orchestra 
• 3-8 June - Hamilton Eisteddfod Music June 
• 10-16 June - Hamilton Eisteddfod Dance June
