Update from Year 9 Japanese

So far in Year 9 Japanese, we have been introduced to many new and different aspects of the Japanese language that are both enjoyable but also bring small challenges. These things are like learning the time and how to pronounce it, and how to write a letter to someone with the correct greetings. We have also slowly been introduced to another script, katakana. This term we have learned about traditional and modern Japanese style homes and how to explain where items are located. I'm really enjoying each topic as it broadens my Japanese vocab. Compared to Year 8, it feels similar, as we still have amazing guidance provided by each Japanese teacher. The only differences I find are in the content we are learning. I really like the MOTIVATE activities like Wordwall and Education Perfect as they help me memorise my vocab. Overall, I'm finding Japanese really fun and I can’t wait to do it again next year!
