AGTV German Poetry Competition for Levels 4, 5 & 6
In German lessons all level 4 – 6 students are learning German poems. Any Grade 4, 5 or 6 students interested can then apply for the annual AGTV German Poetry Competition.
Students are required to recite a German poem to a panel of judges (Frau Taylor, Frau Lindner and Frau Keller) and will be judged according to their pronunciation, intonation, phrasing and overall expression.
The Rangeview competition will be held in the German room at B1 (11.15am) on Thursday, 13th June (Donnerstag, den 13 Juni)
The poems have been given to the students in German lessons.
The poems are also posted on Seesaw for your reference.
Those students who are successful will then represent Rangeview in the German Poetry Competition competing with other schools.
Only three students from each year level (4 – 6) will be selected to represent Rangeview PS at the Regional Final. The Regional Final will be held in Term 3. More details to be announced soon. Should students be awarded a first or second place at the Regional Final they will then be invited to take part in the State Final (held at the Austrian Club in Heidelberg) on Saturday, 19th October (level 5 and 6 students only). All students involved in the competition will receive a certificate and prizes. We wish students viel Glück (good luck) and happy practicing!
