Invite to Social Media Presentation
On Monday 6 May, Girton will welcome Dr Scott Griffiths from The University of Melbourne to share his insights on social media algorithms and their impacts during a special assembly for senior students and separate presentations for our staff and our parents and carers.
Dr Griffiths is an expert in this field, currently working as an Associate Professor within the university’s School of Psychology, where he leads a group of researchers who examine the effects of social media on young people.
If you have children who use social media, we highly encourage you to attend the presentation for parents and carers, which will be held from 7pm to 8pm in the Naunton Family Building Lecture Theatre. Please register your attendance by Friday 3 May.
