YEAR 11

WEEK 2: KEY INFORMATION

LAST WEEK

It was great to see our students back from holidays and ready to learn! A reminder was provided to all students that senior units often stem over 2 terms. Therefore students should be revising units of work from last term.

THIS WEEK

The Cross Country event has been rescheduled to Wednesday this week. This presents a wonderful opportunity for our Year 11s to showcase their house spirit and leadership skills, encouraging others in their team to participate.

Thursday marks the ANZAC Day public holiday, and as tradition holds, St Mary’s has always been heavily involved in organising and participating in the Edmonton Dawn Service. It would be a great opportunity for students to participate and participate in a form of servant leadership. Students need to be in their formal uniform, honouring this important occasion with dignity and respect. The Service commences at 5:30 am at the Fuller Park Cenotaph - Wolff Street, Edmonton.  All the details can be found here: EDMONTON ANZAC DAWN SERVICE

LOOKING AHEAD

Students will continue reflecting on Term 1 report cards. Goal setting from this reflection will take place with the Pastoral Mentors to ensure they are on track with their pathways.
