YEAR 10

WEEK 2: KEY INFORMATION

LAST WEEK

I want to express my sincere gratitude for the warm reception I received during my first week as Acting Head of Year 10, it truly set the tone for what promises to be a great term ahead. It has started brimming with energy and positivity as the students returned from a successful week of work experience before our holidays. While our momentum is strong, it is important to remain mindful of our uniform expectations; let's ensure we are all aligned with our school's standards. Thank you for your cooperation, and here's to another week of growth and success!

THIS WEEK

Our Cross Country event has been rescheduled to Wednesday this week for Years 7,9,10,11 & 12. This presents a wonderful opportunity for Year 10 students to showcase their house spirit and give their best effort on the course.

Thursday marks the ANZAC Day public holiday, and as tradition holds, St Mary’s has always been heavily involved in organising and participating in the Edmonton Dawn Service. It would be great to see students attending in their formal uniform, honouring this important occasion with dignity and respect. The Service commences at 5:30 am at the Fuller Park Cenotaph - Wolff Street, Edmonton.  All the details can be found here: EDMONTON ANZAC DAWN SERVICE

LOOKING AHEAD

Students will take time to reflect on their Term 1 results and plan for the semester ahead. They will use this opportunity to celebrate their successes, identify areas for improvement, and set achievable goals.
