Dear Families,
Welcome to the final edition of our newsletter for Term 2! It is a great opportunity to pause and reflect on the amazing term we have had so far here at Our Lady's. We are truly blessed to be able to work in an environment such as ours. The children, as always, have risen to every occasion and show tremendous gratitude for everything that we do together.
On Friday we finish school at 2.10pm so please don't forget the early finish. We will commence Term 3 on Monday the 15th of July.
On Friday, organised by some of our Grade 6 Leaders, we are running an Our Lady's Got Talent Show!!! This has been on the wish list for our students for some time and this term, with much delight, our Grade 6's have organised this event. All are welcome to attend - at the latest count, we have 15 acts performing on the day. Our event will start at 11.50am and conclude at around 1.10pm.
Alongside this, on Friday the 28th of June, we are running a Crazy Sock Day, raising funds for childhood cancer. If you would like your child to participate, please send them along in their crazy socks with a gold coin donation.
We have had an absolute influx of coughs and colds come through our school and have a number of staff away. At this stage, we are able to remain open but this could change at any point in time, given the number of staff we have away and the lack of availability of CRT teachers. So please, if your child is unwell, keep them home. This is the only way we can work together to stay healthy and functioning as a school.
SAVE THE DATE
Next term, we will be holding our very special Grandparents/Special Friends Day! Please come along to Mass and join our children for this special celebration. All welcome!
Blessings,
Cassie
