Ulverstone Campus Principal
As we come to the close of Term 2 and reflect on the first Semester, I am filled with gratitude for the many blessings and achievements we have experienced together as a school community. It has been a term filled with growth, learning, and a deepening of our faith. God has answered so many of our prayers, brought new families into our school community, and sustained us through a very busy semester.
We are delighted to welcome several new members to our Leighland staff next term.
- Mr Michael Wilkinson will be joining us as the Deputy Head of Campus at Ulverstone, as Mr Ken Greenwood moves to the Burnie Campus as the Acting Head of Primary whilst Mrs Del Polden is on leave.
- Mr James Webb will be joining us in Primary.
- Miss Alisa Romboy will be joining us in Secondary.
- Due to a significant increase in enrolments, I am excited to let you know that we are adding a third Year 1/2 class in Primary, and Mrs Rachel Webb will be teaching this class.
Please join me in extending a warm welcome to our new staff. Their passion for education and commitment to our Christian values will be a tremendous asset to our school.
To our wonderful families, thank you for your support and partnership. Your involvement in your children's education is invaluable, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us. Together, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders who will walk in faith and integrity, solving real-world problems and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff. Your hard work, passion, and dedication to our students' success do not go unnoticed. You have gone above and beyond to create a nurturing and inspiring environment for our students, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
We have many exciting events to look forward to in Term 3. Our annual Book Week Parade is a fun and exciting event held during Book Week in August. Please keep an eye on our newsletters and notices for more details on this event and other important dates.
As we approach the school holiday break, I pray that each of you finds time to rest, recharge, and enjoy quality moments with your loved ones. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in Term 3, refreshed and ready for new challenges and opportunities. May God's grace and blessings be with you all during this holiday season.
