Welcome to Term 3. Netball begins again this week, with six games of the regular winter netball season left.

Training

Tuesday 16 July                Years 10 to 12

Thursday 18 July              Years 6 to 9

Primary teams refer to your coaches.

If you can’t make training or a game please let your coach know as soon as possible.

New goal post

The John XXIII Netball Club has purchased four sets of adjustable height goal posts.

These were installed over the holidays on the front four courts of the netball courts at the College near Year 7 / E block.

Code of Behaviour

As we move towards finals, games can become more heated. Please be aware that spectators and coaches are not permitted to approach an umpire.

No comments should be directed towards the umpire or made where the umpire might hear them. We should respect the effort, decisions and performance of the umpires.

The team captain and aggrieved player may approach the umpire during a quarter/half time break to seek clarification of a call or a rule.

If you do not feel the umpire is adequately controlling the game or the game is dangerous, please have your coach or team manager call me.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General meeting will take place on Monday16 September from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Circle of Friends Cafe at the College.

Netball Hoodies

The first set of new optional netball hoodies are available for collection at the Uniform Shop. If you have not yet ordered your hoodie, sample sizes are available in the Uniform shop and orders and payment can be made online through this link: Netball Hoodie Order. There is an option to have your child’s surname embroidered on the front for a small extra cost. Orders will take approximately three weeks to arrive in the Uniform Shop, and customers will be notified when they are ready for collection.
