Music Camp

Students in Years 7 to12 are currently attending their annual Music Camp! Held in Fairbridge Village (Pinjarra), students will perform a Camp Concert at 1pm on Sunday 16 June in the Ruby Fairbridge Gym, located at the far southern end of the campus. Limited parking is available, however, the oval is also open for parking.

 

Parents intending to collect students after the Camp Concert are asked to please advise the Music Office on 9383 0440.

a2. Orchestra presents Reflections – a concert that contrasts the colour of impressionism, the clarity of classicism and the sound of the clarinet through works by Mozart, Debussy, Mendelssohn and more. Watch their high-quality 22-piece chamber orchestra, led by concertmaster Lisa Smith and joined by clarinet soloist Sophie Allison, take you on a journey through watercoloured melodies and dramatic harmonies in a wonderful morning of music.

Music Eisteddfod – External Tutors

All John XXIII students are invited to perform in the Music Eisteddfod, the College’s annual House Music competition on Sunday 4 August and Monday 5 August! While students learning through College tutors will have their applications lodged automatically, students learning through external tutors will need to complete an entry form, available online through SEQTA Documents or via the following form. 

 

 

Entries close on Wednesday 24 July at 3pm. Please contact the Music Department with any queries.
