Olympic Games

The Olympic Games came to St. Columbas on Thursday!

Students from prep,1/2 and 5/6 were all allocated a country to represent - Australia, Jamaica, India and France.

Everyone rotated through various Olympic inspired activities including Archery, Athletics, Basketball, Soccer and Fencing.

The day began with an Olympic Opening Ceremony with flags and pole bearers.

We finished with a Closing Ceremony and to hear the final tally of the countries.

And the winners were..........Jamaica!!!

What a great way to ignite the spirit of the Olympics, to foster teamwork, communication and sportsmanship in a fun and interactive setting.
