Welcome back to Term 3 which is undoubtedly the most exciting time of the Ben Venue Library calendar! Among all the borrowing, returning, reading and learning that will be happening this term, is Book Week. Coinciding with the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA), Ben Venue will also be celebrating Book Week during Week 5 of Term 3. The Scholastic Book Fair and of course the book parade are particular highlights of Book Week. Both events provide a fun atmosphere that fosters a love of reading.

Do you want the best new children’s books? They’re coming to our school soon! 

Join us during Book Week in Week 5 and find your next favourite read. This is a great way to collect some new titles for home book collections as well as support Ben Venue to purchase more books for our school library. Further details to be provided in the coming weeks. 

What’s new in the library?

Did you know that every purchase you make on Book Club earns our school 15% of the order value in Scholastic Rewards? We use these to purchase more books and educational resources for the school. It all helps! Through your continued support of Scholastic Book Club, our library was able to purchase some great new resources. Among many other titles, some of our latest purchases include:
