NEW - Lions Club Public Speaking Competition

Congratulations to all of the Year 3-6 students who participated in the Lions Club Public Speaking competition at School on Wednesday the 17th of July. The judges were very pleased with how well students confidently presented their speeches. Mia L and Olivia from Year 3/4 and Urijah, Lola and Mia S from Year 5/6 will represent Sacred Heart by presenting their speeches at the Tatura Lions Club on Tuesday the 23rd of July. They will be competing against students from other local schools and we wish them luck!

NEW - Fortnight in Foundation

It has been a wonderful start back to Term 3. We have started our Farm to the Family theme learning about pigs and wheat. Mrs. Wishy-Washy visited the class on Friday and read her famous book about the animals from her farm.

We also baked some bread after reading The Little Red Hen and made some butter to have on our bread. Our classroom smelt like a bakery.

Please be sure to read our Bulletin that was sent out last week via email. It has a lot of information about the term.

We are also asking students to bring in a washed milk or juice bottle for an activity later in the term. Please name it on the bottom.

Thank you

Lunch Orders

Tatura Hot Bread Bakery will be providing the School lunch orders for two days a week. Lunch orders will be available Thursdays and Fridays. Please find below the 2024 price list.  There is an example on how to correctly fill in the lunch order bag on Daily Messages, the Hot Bread Bakery has advised that all lunch orders need to be in the correct format. Thank you.

A reminder orders are to be done through the School, not to be dropped off at the Bakery.
