NSWCPS Rugby Trials
On Monday 1 July, Josh Jeffrey, Joe Swain, Charlie Mainey and Tom Smallwood traveled to Forbes to compete in the NSWCPS Rugby Trials. All students performed at a high level with Tom Smallwood being selected in the Polding Team! Congratulations!

Senior High Jump
On Friday 21 June our senior students competed in their high jump finals at school. There was some excellent jumping shown from our senior students. Congratulations to our winners and a special congratulations to Josh Spinks for equalling the school record of 1.48m set in 2001 by James Wilkinson.

School Athletics Carnival
The St Xavier's Athletics Carnival was held on June 28, it was an icy start but a great day overall. The cheering and sportsmanship from everyone was fantastic to see.

7yrs Shot Put - Hugo Frend 7.14m (Old Record 6.46m, Hayden Jaeger 2000)
Carmel Senior Girls Relay 1.03.63 (Equalled the record in1986)
12/13yrs Boys High Jump - Josh Spinks 1.48m (Equalled the record, James Wilkinson 2001)
11yrs Boys Shot Put - Josh Jeffrey 9.77m (Old Record 9.58m, James Wilkinson 2000)

Toni Palmer Memorial Shield - Rugby League
On Thursday 4 July, 12 students had an early start traveling to Inverell to compete in the Toni Palmer Memorial Shield. They played 4 matches against schools from around the region, displaying great sportsmanship and improving skills throughout the day.
