Primary Sub School News

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to Term 3!  I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing holiday and are now feeling refreshed ready for our new Term.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thankyou to Pam for all of her hard work whilst in our wonderful Primary Sub School.  We will miss Pam greatly and wish her the very best in her future endeavours.

A very big welcome to Zeinab!  We are very excited to welcome you into the Primary Sub School.  If you need anything at all, please reach out to myself, your buddy classroom, a friendly neighbour across the hall or a friendly face in the staffroom!

Excursions

Heading into this term we have excursions taking place as well as Kinder Gym - please ensure you remain on top of the excursion to do list ahead of time.  Be sure permission has been given by parents, the activity locator lodged and transport as well as staffing considered.  I urge you to touch base with both myself and the admin staff in the weeks leading up to the excursion to ensure you have a second set of eyes over documentation, and a sounding board to assist in planning and coordination of the excursion.

Term 3 Assemblies

Assemblies will follow the roster sent by Mary last term and will be held in the CLH as usual.  If the CLH is unavailable, the assembly will be held by the appropriate room for that week in their own classroom.  I will create a WebEx meeting so that the assembly can be observed by PSS from their own rooms as needed.

SSG's

Term 3 SSG meetings commence next week.  Please can you follow up with any families who have not responded and record communications in students' files.  Let me know if you would like me to attend by sending me a calendar invite.  Please be aware that I am supporting Room 1 with their SSG's also.
