Dear Parents and Carers,
School Photos: School photo day is always an exciting day at school. I congratulate everyone on their efforts in ensuring their child/ren were wearing the correct uniform, let's ensure this continues throughout the year. If your child was absent catch-up photo day will be on Monday the 19th February, please ensure your child is wearing their full summer uniform on this day.
Shrove Tuesday: also known as Pancake Day, is the traditional feast before the start of Lent on Wednesday. Students will be indulging in a pancake from our master chefs Mr Cliff, Mr Danny and Ale.
Ash Wednesday Mass: On Wednesday we will be having a whole school Mass which marks the beginning of the Lenten journey. Mass will begin at 10:30am where students will receive ashes as a sign of penance and commitment to our spiritual growth. Families are invited to join us at Mass.
Just a reminder to parents that the carpark between the school and church is for staff. There seems to be a number of parents entering this area and it is causing issues with safety and accessibility to our school.
Presentation of Class Captains: At assembly today, we presented our semester one Class Captains with their badges. Congratulations to all students, I'm sure they are going to do an amazing job this semester!

School Closure Day:
Friday 16th Februaryis a pupil free day and there will be no school for students on this day. Staff will be working with Brad Williams on our whole school approach to behaviour, 1,2,3 Magic, and Emotion Coaching.
I encourage parents to register for the parent workshop on Monday 19th February 6:30-8:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to learn about what the school has in place and how you can also implement and support your children at home with these strategies. The session is free to attend, please see the flyer below for registration.
