Fundraising

We have had a hugely successful year of Fundraising, in fact, the best ever!  I would like to thank all the families that have donated to our Fundraising activities and events throughout the year. 

I am proud to announce, that together we raised just over $40,000. What an incredible achievement!

These funds have purchased new shade sails for our sandpit and will also contribute to a complete upgrade of student toilets.  Next year, Mrs Maxwell and I will again work with the Junior School Council members to get their thoughts on what they would like to see fundraising money used for.  Our hope is to install picnic tables and chairs to provide more seating options for students outside. 

I didn't think it was possible but we have somehow beat our record of sausages sold. At our Christmas Concert we sold a record amount of 850 sausages in one night! 

Of course we could not have done this without the help of Craig Hill and Nicole Bailey. Craig has given so much of his time to cut onions and sausages in the lead up to each event.  

These events can’t occur without our committed Fundraising Team and all those parents that support events by volunteering their time to work on stalls, count money, put together hampers or distribute products.  Thank you so much!

We are saying farewell to Nicole Bailey this year, but only in a parent capacity. Nicole will still be providing expert Canteen services. Nicole has been a parent at GRPS for 13 years and has been a huge part of the Fundraising Team throughout that time.  On behalf of the entire community, I would like to thank you for your contribution and support of the school.
