Soccer 2024

This year the LNPS soccer teams will again be part of the North West Junior Soccer Association.

LNPS will hopefully be represented in all the age groups, U6 up to U13 and boys and girls are eligible to play. The website www.nwjsa.org.au has all the soccer information, game times will be available in in Term 2, 2024.

Games are on Saturday mornings at the St Clair Ovals, with the exception of the U12’s and U13’s which will play at Underdale. Games are conducted as friendly and fun. Timetables will be distributed in Term 2, 2024. Training will be after school on Wednesdays at Lockleys North Primary School oval and will begin in Term 2.

SOCCER FEES

TBA per child. This covers Public Liability Insurance.

No payment required with this registration. Students will be invoiced once teams are selected.

UNIFORMS TO BE PURCHASED FROM UNIFORM SHOP

You can purchase your soccer top at the uniform shop on site at school. Please purchase after teams have been confirmed with families. Each child will also need to provide their own boots, shin guards, navy shorts and navy socks. UNIFORMS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL.

VOLUNTEERS PLEASE

It is imperative that we have parent volunteers to coach/assist/manage each team. If we don’t get enough parental support we may not be able to put teams in the competition.

If you are volunteering you will need to attend the NWJSA coaching clinic on a date to be provided and have a Working With Children Check, RAN-EC online training, which the school can assist with.

Please fill in the section attached below and return by 28th February 2024 to the front office or email Vanessa.rushe993@schools.sa.edu.au

** Please note we cannot accept late registrations – late fees apply with NWJSA **

Any queries regarding registration or volunteering can be directed to Vanessa.rushe993@schools.sa.edu.au

Basketball LNPS

Is your child interested in playing basketball for Lockleys North?

Beginners and experienced players alike join together to learn new skills, keep fit, have fun and make new friends.

Games are played at St. Clair Recreation Centre, Woodville Rd, Woodville (game times range between 3.50pm, 4.30pm, 5.10pm and 5.50pm).

Rec/1 - Wednesdays

year 2/3 - Mondays

year 3/4 & 5/6 - Tuesdays or Fridays

Games will start in week 4 of term 1.

Each team costs $750 per semester to enter. The cost will be divided between the players and individual families will be invoiced once teams have been established. Uniforms will be available to purchase for new players at the school uniform shop.

For me to enter a team it also must have a parent coach/manager. This role can be shared between parents if needed. This person will be the main contact with St Clair (mainly for game forfeits), will set up communications between families, organise the subs on game day, and if able and willing, arrange training sessions for their team (I can help organise this around school gym availability).

Please submit your child/children's expression of interest by Wednesday 7th Feb. with the following information:
