At St. Mary’s, we value the collaboration between our school, families and the community. By working together, we provide our students with enriching learning experiences and foster connections within our community.
Parents play a crucial role in making many of our programs and opportunities possible. To ensure our students have the best learning opportunities, we are seeking volunteers to assist in our classrooms. There are various ways you can contribute to the school community and being a classroom helper is one way to support our students on their learning journey.
We have developed a brief slideshow for our parent-helper induction program, which explains the responsibilities and expectations of our parent helpers. All volunteers must watch this slideshow and meet with Carol McMahon to sign a parent code of conduct before starting their classroom support.
To make the most of our volunteers' time and ensure effective supervision, teachers plan focused activities that require adult assistance. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact your child's classroom teacher to schedule the times when you can come in and help.
We are excited to collaborate and support our students' growth together.
