MUSIC Program

Frankston High School Instrumental Music Program

Frankston High School’s band program is an essential component of the school’s extracurricular activities and involves over 200 students. In the coming weeks we will be recruiting for our Year 7 Band Program. This band is for students who have had little or no experience in a concert band setting.

Instruments we offer:

Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Percussion and Bass.

What this means:

  • Weekly rehearsals every Wednesday for Year 7 students from 3.30-4:30pm.
  • Dedicated lessons with instrument specialists.
  • Students gain a wide range of cognitive and social benefits through studying an instrument and playing in a band.
