Years F & 1

It has been a great first full week back with the students getting back into routines, enjoying time with their friends and being excited about learning. In maths each day we have been watching a count to 100 movement and the students have really enjoyed it. It allows them to get familiar with the numbers to 100 and moving their bodies at the same time. We looked at ordinal numbers and the students had the chance to ride our classroom bus where we identified who got on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and so on. They thought it was great fun and got to take a bus to a great place. 

In reading, we have been focusing on identifying words and letters and students had to look through books to find these.
