Reflecting on the year

Year 3 have commented on some of their highlights of 2023 following: 

Camp - 3E Mae - I was in a cabin with my friends and the campfires and movies were fun. I really liked when we went for a hike and then got hot chocolate, because it was delicious!

Camp - Moe 3D - I really enjoyed camp because we got to experience new things and get out of our comfort zones. Camp was really fun!

Swimming - Rocco 3A - Swimming was one of my favourites because they pushed you to put in a lot of effort so you grew. You had to do backstroke (in my group) 2 laps, and do freestyle (2 laps).

Transition Day - 3E Tia - In Transition Day we met out teacher, her name was Ava. She was new to the school and she was a really kind teacher. She also has a dog  named Elliot and he lives in Perth.

Risa's farewell party - 3E Kalila - We decided to make a party for Risa - it took us about 4 days to prepare and create the decorations. It all turned out well. Everyone had fun and also the cake and the nachos and cupcakes were delicious!

Incursion (Reptile) - Teju 3A -  The Reptile incursion was really cool because we got to see lots of different reptiles and hold them. We also learned about endangered animals and got to see a frog which was Matilda (our teacher's) favourite animal!

Specialists - Lojain 3C - My highlight of the year was Art because I like how we did all these different illustrators and art pieces. I liked when we did the painting and pastels.

Specialists - Kalin 3C - I liked PE because we did very good partner work in the bike riding.

School Life - Yusra 3D - My highlight of the year was when I saw ducks in the school. I thought they would be yellow with an orange beak but they were brown!

Art Show - Lucas C 3D - For me, the highlight of the year was the Art Show, where we could perform. It felt like fame for me. Everyone's eyes was on me, me ME!

Nature - Daymars 3D - My highlight of the year were the birds at camp, especially Magpies because my favourite birds are Magpies of course, and Pigeons, they really slay.

Book Week - Charlotte 3B - My highlight of the year was Book Week because I really liked seeing other people's really creative costumes.

Arts Festival - Macy 3B - I loved the Art Festival because everyone tried their hardest and was a part of it. I loved showing what we were working on to my parents.

Maths - Pareen 3C - My highlight of the year was Maths because I love all the games in Maths.

Cooking - Nathan 3A - Cooking was my favourite because we were able to cook lots of good and fun dishes. I appreciated trying new foods that I have never tried before.

Cooking - Mary 3C - 'My highlight of the semester was cooking because all the food is good to try - it is good to try things that you have never made.

Gardening - Louis 3B - Gardening, it was amazing because me and my group grew a couple of carrots. We were waiting for them to grow and then, when in Term 4 when we looked at it, it grew like a normal carrot!

Drama Showcase - Lisa 3A - The drama showcase was really good because I got to perform in front of my parents and everyone else. Another reason I liked the showcase was because I got to perform with all my friends and have fun.
