Appreciations

As we head towards the end of the school year, we would like to extend our gratitude to all our families for their support this year. When we reflect back on the year, it’s hard to imagine that we all started together at our Errol Street Campus and we are now working across the two campuses seamlessly. This is a credit to the NMPS staff, students, and families. It’s important to acknowledge that the work we have achieved this year while undergoing enormous change. Thank you to all our students, our staff, and our families for your ongoing commitment to NMPS. 

2024 Student Leadership Roles 

As our Year 6 students transition into secondary school, we have the opportunity to welcome and develop our new school leaders. 

We would like to acknowledge all Year 5 students who applied for the school leader roles and thank them for their efforts. Whilst we understand there may be feelings of disappointment for the students who were not appointed, we believe that all students have demonstrated resilience in the process. 

Our 2024 leaders will be announced on Wednesday at our end of year assembly, and we will have another assembly at the beginning of 2024 to formally announce these leaders into their role.

Building Works

Both our Errol Street Campus and our Molesworth Street Campus will have contractors working onsite over the holiday periods. These works will see improvements made to both campuses, in addition to the installation of the Year 9 toilet block at our Errol Street Campus. 

2024 School Return Date

Our students in Year 1 to Year 6 will commence school on Tuesday 30th January 2024 and we will welcome our 2024 Prep students to school on Thursday 1st February 2024. 

University High School’s Year 9 Galileo Program will also start their schooling from NMPS at the beginning of Term 1. School operational details outlining how we will work together will be shared with our school community at the beginning of next term.

We would like to wish everyone a relaxing, safe, and enjoyable summer holiday. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2024 school year.
