Music Ensembles

Please see below for start-of-year details of the College’s various co-curricular ensembles:

Concert Band – First Rehearsal

Concert Band commences for the year from 7:00am – 8:30am in the Performing Arts Centre on Monday, 19 February. Please contact Ms Liz Jennings (elizabeth.jennings@johnxxiii.edu.au) for further information.

Chamber Orchestra – First Rehearsal

Chamber Orchestra commences for the year from 7:00am – 8:30am in the Osborne Room on Wednesday, 21 February. A seating chart is located at the entry to the Performing Arts Centre. Please contact Mr James Kros (james.kros@johnxxiii.edu.au) for further information.

Wind Band – First Rehearsal

Wind Band commences for the year from 7:15am – 8:30am in the Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, 22 February. A seating chart is located at the entry to the Performing Arts Centre. Please contact Ms Liz Jennings (elizabeth.jennings@johnxxiii.edu.au) for further information.

Chapel Choir

Chapel Choir is open to all Years 1 to12 students who love singing, with a focus on liturgical music. Rehearsals commence at 7:30am in the Chapel with Mrs Haydon and Mr Johnston. Chapel Choir then sings at Community Mass (commencing at 8:00am). Secondary students who sing in the choir may include this time in their Roncalli Service hours. The next Chapel Choir rehearsal and Community Mass is in Week 4 on Friday 23 February.
