Welcome to the 2024 LCS School Year!

With the amazing growth and activities taking place in 2024, meet our Executive Principal, Mrs Natasha MacKinnon, as she introduces some of the leadership at Leighland Christian School. From the Burnie Campus and the Ulverstone Campus, school leaders talk about their roles and the vision for this new year!

Kinder 2025

Enrolments for Kinder 2025 are open!  Thank you to those families who have already expressed their interest.  We ask that any current families who have little ones for Kindy next year, to please reach out as siblings are not automatically enrolled, and enrolment forms are required to be completed for every child.  This will secure your child’s spot and greatly assist our Principals to establish vacancies for new families.  Please contact:

SIMON Information Session

Parents and guardians are invited to attend an information session about the school’s Learning Management System, SIMON.  SIMON is an online platform for teachers, students and parents to be able to view assessment tasks with due dates and feedback, as well as access to formal school reports. SIMON also has available each student’s timetable, daily messages, and the school calendar.

Sessions will be held across the two campuses:

• Burnie Campus: Tuesday 20 February at 6.00pm
• Ulverstone Campus: Wednesday 21 February at 3.15pm and 6.00pm

Please note that these sessions will take place on the same days as the school Welcome Barbecues, beginning at 5.00pm. Parents are welcome to attend any session at either campus.  This will be an opportunity for parents to receive information on how students will engage with SIMON for their learning and assessment.  

Information will also be provided to parents for logging into the Parent Access Module (PAM) and how to navigate this page to view their child’s learning and assessment. It is anticipated that a session will be for one hour.

Parents are invited to bring their phones, iPads or other devices to receive assistance with logging into PAM, if they wish.
