Term 1 Curriculum Letters
The Term 1 Curriculum Letters/Overviews below outline the Learning and Teaching that will take place in each year level, including Specialist classes.
Chinese Mandarin
In Chinese Mandarin, the students have been learning about the Chinese festival, Lunar New Year, and how the festival is celebrated in Chinese culture. Chinese Mandarin is the language taught at Sacred Heart as part of the Languages curriculum. We acknowledge all cultures and their celebrations and wish all who celebrate Lunar New Year a prosperous and happy occasion.
We will be celebrating different cultures during our inaugural Multicultural Day on Friday 22 March. On this day, students can dress up in clothing/colours related to their culture. More details will be shared in the next few weeks.
Year 4 - All About Me
The Year 4 students had fun combining writing and art when creating their 'All About Me' pastels. The artwork represents who they are, highlighting their favourite colours, animals, food etc.
