Community Events Team 

Celebrate and Shout Out!

A huge shout out to everyone who has supported the CET events this year. We appreciate everyone who has helped out by volunteering in an up-front or behind the scenes way to support the Wominjeka picnic, Trivia Night, Solstice celebration, Sports Day and multiple Plant and Produce Markets. Including the Winter Magic Market, our collective fundraising has raised over $50,000!! This money has gone towards the fabulous school programs that go over and above to provide a well-rounded school experience for our children, including setting up the chook shed and acquiring chooks, supporting the gardening program, the physical education program, visual and performing arts and Indonesian, along with supporting other programs across the school. 

Thanks especially to the amazing CET team this year: Linda Williamson, Linda Reiling, Samantha Everton, Lucy Knox, Jenny McDonald, Sophie Sexton-Bruce, Jane Eckett, and Brigid Morgan and Anne Treasure our co-chairs. We are sadly saying goodbye to Samantha and Sophie after many years of service to our school, as their youngest children are leaving the school this year. Thank you to both of you for all you have done.

All volunteers at the school need a valid Working With Children’s Check - click this link to apply if you don’t have one. It’s fairly straightforward and free for volunteers.
