School Counsellor

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Tal Silverstein and I am delighted to introduce myself as the School Counsellor here at Galilee Primary School. I joined the team in September 2023 and I am excited to be a part of your child’s well being journey.

Starting this academic year, I will be available every Monday as the School Counsellor. My primary goal is to ensure the well-being and success of each student at our school. I am here to provide a safe and supportive space for your child to discuss any challenges they may be facing, be it social, or personal. I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the social and emotional growth of our students.

Here are some of the services I offer:

1. Individual Counselling: Tailored sessions to address personal concerns, emotional challenges, and goal-setting.

2. Crisis Intervention: Prompt support during critical situations to ensure the safety and well-being of your child.

3. Collaboration with Parents: Regular communication and collaboration with parents to address concerns and provide guidance.

4. Collaboration with Teachers: Working closely with educators to ensure a holistic approach to your child’s well-being. This collaboration helps address any social emotional and behavioural concerns and ensures a coordinated effort in supporting your child’s development and wellbeing.

If you wish to use this service, we can have a brief intake conversation to better understand your child’s needs. This ensures that the support provided is tailored to their unique requirements. In addition a consent form will be sent to you. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via
