Late Arrivals/ Early Departures

So that we are able to meet our duty of care and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, accurate attendance records must be kept. It is important that the following procedures are followed when students either arrive late to school or depart early. 

Late Arrivals - SIGN IN

Students who arrive late to school are required to sign in at Reception. This records the time that the student has arrived at school. They will be issued with a late pass which is to be handed to their class teacher.

If a student goes straight to class without signing in, even if a parent approval has been logged, a Minor Behaviour Chronicle will be logged on Compass.

Early Departures - SIGN OUT

Students who depart school early are required to sign out at Reception. This records the time that the student leaves school.

If a student leaves without signing out at Reception, even if a parent approval has been logged, a Minor Behaviour Chronicle will be logged on Compass.

If a student leaves school grounds without parent/carer permission, a Minor Behaviour Chronicle is logged, Truancy is recorded and a detention issued.
