Book of the Month
Hi everyone,
This term, we’ve received and processed many new books, and we’re thrilled to announce that the books from the Dymocks Children’s Charity grant have started to arrive! Each parcel is an exciting moment for us.
As Term 4 comes to a close, the library staff are busy with end-of-year tasks, including processing the many overdue books that are being returned to replenish our shelves
If students are unsure whether they have any overdue items, they can check their loans, reserve books, or explore our catalogue for new reads by accessing their Functional Solutions account. To log in, simply scan the QR code below and use your student code
(e.g., ABC0001) with the password "student."
For library news and promotions, join our Google Classroom by scanning the QR code or use the classroom code 5d7qree.
Our Book of the Month selection for November comes courtesy of a recommendation from one of our Student Reading Advisory members, Raheem Salihu Ibrahim.
Morrigan Crow is cursed. Born on an unlucky day, she is blamed for all local misfortunes, from hailstorms to heart attacks - and, worst of all, the curse means that Morrigan is doomed to die at midnight on Eventide. But as Morrigan awaits her fate, a strange and remarkable man named Jupiter North appears.
Raheem advises that this is an interesting and unique adventure series and has an incredible plot. He awards the series four stars.
We wish all families a happy and safe holiday period and look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready 2025.
Melinda, Will and Andrea.
