Principal's Report

As we wrap up another incredible year at Staughton College, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on the achievements of our students, the unwavering support of our families, and the dedication of our staff. Together, we’ve continued to make strides towards ensuring every student thrives in their learning and personal growth.

At the time of writing, we are eagerly looking forward to celebrating the achievements of our Year 12 students at their upcoming Y12 Graduation. This event is a significant milestone, marking the culmination of years of hard work, determination, and resilience. It is a proud moment for our entire community, and we wish our graduates all the best as they embark on their next chapters.

We are also excited about our Annual Awards Night, which provides a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the diverse achievements of our students. From academic success to excellence in the arts, sports, and leadership, it is an inspiring showcase of the talent and dedication within our student body.

This year, I was privileged to attend the Western Edge Cluster (WEC) Awards, where many of our students were recognised for their success in vocational pathways. Their achievements highlight the importance of exploring and excelling in diverse educational journeys. Congratulations to all students involved!

Looking ahead to 2025, we are focused on maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour as we continue to strive for excellence. This includes our expectations around uniform, which fosters a sense of pride and belonging in our school community. Your ongoing support in reinforcing these values at home is greatly appreciated, as together we build a culture where every student can achieve their best.

As we close the year, I want to sincerely thank you all for your contributions to making Staughton College a welcoming and inspiring place for our students to learn and grow. I wish you a joyful and safe summer break. We look forward to seeing you refreshed and ready for a new year of opportunities and success in 2025!

Warm regards,

Mr A. Devine
