Faith and Mission
As we approach the season of Advent, we are called to embrace Christ's teachings of love and service, especially toward 'the least of these' among us. This time invites us to focus on hope, compassion, and action as we consider how to bring kindness and charity into the world. Our College’s mission to 'Seek Justice' serves as a foundation for us to engage in this calling, and we are excited to join with our community to make a meaningful difference through the St Vincent de Paul, Shopfront, and Archbishop’s LifeLink Christmas Appeals.
These appeals respond directly to the Gospel call to serve our neighbours, particularly those facing difficult times. Organisations like St Vincent de Paul, Shopfront and LifeLink are devoted to providing essential services—food, shelter, and support—to individuals and families in need. By contributing, we extend Christ's love in a powerful and tangible way, offering hope and resources to those who might otherwise be without during this special season.
Please refer to the Primary and Secondary sections of the newsletter for specific items that are most needed this year. For those preferring to donate directly to LifeLink, donations can be made here: LifeLink | Donate

Community Mass
This morning, it was College Alumni who prepared the Eucharist. As it is the month of November, we particularly remembered beloved alumni who have died.
Next week, the liturgy will be prepared by students in Year 9. All are welcome to Community Mass, especially if you are new to the College. After mass, coffee and conversation continues in the Circle of Friends café.
As always, all are welcome to Community Mass, followed by coffee and conversation in the Circle of Friends Café.

Reconciliation in Primary
Over the past two weeks, students in Years 3-6 have been celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The students responded positively to the opportunity for quiet reflection on their relationships with God and others.
Visiting priest, Fr Greg Donovan told the students that the sacrament is about ‘God’s mercy and forgiveness, not our wrongdoing’. Fr Greg encouraged the students to continue celebrating the sacrament into their teen years and beyond, noting that God never stops forgiving.
The College is grateful to Fr Greg and the other priests who made themselves available for the sacrament and made it a good experience for the students. Our thanks to Fr Giancarlo Iollo OMI from Fremantle Parish, Fr Marcelo Gonzalez Parra from Cottesloe Parish, Fr Richard Rutkauskas from Claremont Parish and Fr Rodrigo Da Costa Ponte from Midland Parish.
