Bonjour tout le monde!

In French, Foundation students have been looking at the songs of 

"Petit escargot" and "L'Araignée Gipsy". They have been listening to these "comptines", 

practising French pronunciation and intonation, memorising vocabulary and actions.

Grade 1 and 2 have been listening to a song about travelling around the world entitled "Survolons les plus beaux pays" by Titounis on YouTube. They have been practising their listening skills, copying and writing the lyrics in French and English, remembering actions and correct pronunciation. Their work is being posted in their Seesaw journals.

The topic of holiday activities saw the grade 3-6 start the term with students practising oral skills such as asking "Qu'est-ce que tu as fait pendant les vacances?" and selecting answers such as "Pendant les vacances j'ai joué au tennis. ", "Pendant le vacances j'aime faire du cheval", "J'aime lire et nager pendant le vacances". Students created entries in their workbooks, posted photos and  French recordings of their holiday activities in their journals on Seesaw.
