Sporting Events

Athletics Division 

On the 24th of October our boys relay team came 6th in the Eastern Metropolitan Regionals in Athletics. What an outstanding achievement to come this far and do so well amongst the many schools who competed.

Max's Recount (6SJ)

Division athletics was a day full of fun, candy and meeting lots of people. It was thrilling to be surrounded by such amazing athletes on the day and really widened my horizons of the possible competition.  In the end, it was a successful day- my relay team had another fantastic win, Maddie also qualifie for regionals in triple jump again and everybody from our school at the event giving their all. 

Mixed Volleyball Division

After being undefeated during interschool sports and winning district the mixed volleyball team progressed to division.  On the 15th of October 11 grade 5/6 students went to Boroondara Sport Complex to compete in division.  Our first game was against Glenferrie Primary School and we won the two sets.  Our next game was against Camberwell South Primary School and again we won the first two sets.  

We then competed against the also undefeated Canterbury Primary.  We both won a set each and both teams made it to the Grand Final.  The game was best out of three.  We won the first set.  Canterbury won the second set.  It was neck and neck in the third set and Canterbury just won by a couple of points. 

It was a really close game and congratulations to all the players.  Everyone was supportive and tried their best. 

A Grade 6 Student's Recount (6HR)

On the 15th of October, our school's volleyball team went to the Boroondara Sport Complex for division.  Our team won all the games except for one.  We had lots of fun and met lots of new people.  All the schools did very well and we hope to see the next volleyball team in division.
