Author Visit

Weeden Heights is very fortunate to have author Beckie Plant visit the school on Friday 15 November.

The author and illustrator of two children’s books ‘Amazing Like You’, a story that encourages children to believe they are amazing and to focus on their strengths, and 'Bob, Anxiety and Me' , a story about Bob, a helpful friend who can light your way through the struggles of anxiety and make sense of big worries. 

Beckie Plant will be giving author talks to each of our grades throughout the day and will also be selling her books.
