Year 7 to Year 9
We wrapped up Week One of Term Four with the biggest Secondary Assembly we’ve ever held, featuring 315 students and an amazing turnout of parents and caregivers. It was a wonderful celebration of everything that makes Salvado Catholic College unique. A big congratulations to our Year Eight Student Representatives, who did a fantastic job leading the assembly and capturing the spirit and energy of our community.
We are thrilled to recognise students who have demonstrated outstanding care for others, inclusivity, and a strong commitment to building community within their PCGs. These students consistently model positive behaviour and embody the values of Salvado Catholic College. Congratulations to:
Nine Year 9 students had the opportunity to visit Parliament House and met local Member of Parliament, Mr Hugh Jones. Read the accounts of some of the students who visited on the day.
It has been an eventful start to the term, packed with a variety of engaging activities both inside and outside the classroom. Our students and staff have been busy with enriching learning experiences, and there’s still much to look forward to in the coming weeks.
The Atomi Presentation was a hit, providing valuable insights to our students, and PAT and OLNA testing were completed smoothly. These results will be instrumental in guiding our focus on improving student outcomes.
Additionally, we were excited to see our Year Seven students proudly represent the College at the ACC Super Series, and our Year Nines seize a potential career-defining opportunity with the Australian Defence Force. A huge 'Thank You' to our dedicated teachers for making these enriching experiences possible for our students.
