Friends of Salvado

Friends of Salvado would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our volunteers and college staff for giving their time to help during our 3 discos last Friday night! After a busy week, staff gave their time to supervise, take photos and even had a dance with the kids! Look out for disco photos!

We also had some wonderful high school students help out - Grace Arscott, Sophie Fairlamb and Hayley Critchell. We had so many wonderful volunteers on the night, there are too many to mention. Without your help these events couldn't have gone ahead so we really appreciate you all and I'm sure our kids do too!

We would like to say a special thanks to Sam Byrne for helping in the canteen and at the BBQ all night and for making a special appearance as Henry the Octopus in our Kindy & Pre-Primary disco, he was a big hit with the kids!

Thanks also to Aimee Bloom for the colourful balloon display in our photobooth, check out her business SonnyDays.events on Facebook.

And how good was DJ Dave! The dance off at the Years 4 to 6 disco was so much fun and he interacted with all the kids so well, with fun games and song requests! Feel free to leave Dave a great review here – www.facebook.com/KomodoMusic.

Colour Explosion School Run 4 Fun

Our college Colour Explosion Run 4 Fun is on Friday 22 November! This event is a college event so it is open to all students in Primary school and Secondary school. So if you haven’t already created your child’s online profile to get started with fundraising, visit www.australianfundraising.com.au to get started!

Take advantage of the AMAZING online portal that is included with our fundraiser! There are lots of interactive features, and plenty of rewards up for grabs, like free incentive prize credit and Monstar promotional prizes.

Call for Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers for the following upcoming events:

Colour Explosion Run4Fun on 22 November 2024 – help setting up on the day and also help organising obstacle course (tyres, rope climb, etc). We are open to amazing ideas and donations of items! It's so much fun! You'll love helping at this one!

World Teachers Day - 26 October

This Friday 26 October is World Teachers' Day and to thank our amazing teaching staff we're throwing them a morning tea to celebrate! We’d love your support so if you'd like to contribute by giving some yummy treats for our teachers to enjoy, you can drop off food (cakes, biscuits, sweets, savoury items, etc) by 9am on Friday morning for FOS to collect. If items are homemade, please provide a list of ingredients.
